Moody's published two additional appendices to our ESG cross-sector methodology. These appendices provide more detailed information on the principal considerations for assigning ESG Issuer Profile Scores (IPS) and Credit Impact Scores (CIS) to Enterprises (Non-financial corporates and Government Enterprises) and Regional and Local Governments (US states, US local governments - e.g. cities, counties - non-US regional and local governments), respectively.
