Overview

This is the 4th year we have held this event in London, and previously we have had around 130 attendees from over 75 distinct financial institutions, including investors, risk managers, actuaries and bankers.

Antonello is Associate Managing Director for the EMEA Insurance Team. He is responsible for Moody’s analytic team maintaining Moody’s ratings on EMEA insurers. Antonello joined Moody’s in 2008 as a senior insurance analyst covering some of the major European (re)insurers. Prior to Moody’s, Antonello was responsible for the FIG rating advisory practise at Credit Suisse in Europe. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Antonello was a senior analyst at S&P insurance and worked in the FIG M&A team of DrKW and ABN AMRO. Antonello holds an MBA from HEC and is alumnus of London Business School. He graduated in business administration cum laude from Bocconi University in Italy. Antonello is fluent in English, Italian and French.

Dr. Steven Morrison is a Senior Director in Moody’s Analytics Insurance Research group. Steven leads a team of actuaries and quantitative analysts developing modelling techniques and tools for insurance companies. For a number of years, Steven’s research has focused on development of methodology for projection of insurers’ financial statements, for use in risk and capital assessment and decision making. He has an MSc in Financial Mathematics and a PhD in Theoretical Physics.

Massimiliano Neri is a Director in Moody’s Analytics, and covers the role of IFRS 17 Leader for the EMEA region.Prior to this role, he was Sales Manager of the Insurance division, was instrumental in Moody’s success with Solvency II. Prior to Moody’s Analytics, he worked at IBM, ILOG and iRise. Massimiliano holds a PhD in Applied Economics Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.He is a professor of Risk Management for Value investors at OMMA and an Executive Director of the Finance Research Center at UFM.
