Ms. Folakemi Fatogbe is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN). She is also the Director of Risk Management at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Prior to her appointment at the CBN, she had a twenty-year long career in the banking industry (mostly in the United Kingdom), during which she worked with organisations like the Bank of England (as a Senior Risk Analyst), Natwest Group (as a strategist), Lloyds TSB (as a Basel II Risk Consultant), NCR Teradata (as a Programme Director), and the Financial Services Authority.
Folakemi joined the Central Bank of Nigeria in October 2009 as Special Adviser to the Governor - Risk Management. She was appointed Director of the newly created Risk Management Department with effect from March 1, She has an MBA in Finance & International Business from the University of Wales, Cardiff Business School (1992) and is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) 2010.
