Kristin Lindow joined Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group in 1993. During her tenure, shehas been the lead analyst on dozens of countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa,Latin America and South Asia. She was also involved in the expansion of Moody’ssovereign ratings throughout the developing world. She is the current lead analyst forcountries in Europe (Russia, Ukraine, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland) and the MiddleEast (Israel).Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Lindow was a Senior Economist at the Institute ofInternational Finance in Washington, D.C., where she focused on the macroeconomicpolicies and external financing needs of heavily-indebted Latin American countries.Before that, she was a Senior Economist in the Developing and Centrally PlannedEconomies Service at Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates, also inWashington, D.C., specializing in the Middle East and Europe, and previously she was aResearch Assistant at Chase Econometrics in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.Ms. Lindow received a B.S. in Foreign Service (cum laude) from the GeorgetownUniversity School of Foreign Service in 1977, and later undertook graduate courseworkin economics, statistics, and mathematics.
